Dear Parents,

I hope everyone was safe this weekend during the severe storm we had!

2 more weeks left before Grade 4s “graduate” from Saddle Ridge School!  To celebrate, Saddle Ridge School will be hosting an “End of Year Parade of Greatness!” School staff will drive down the streets of Saddle Ridge and Savanna and we hope to see you there!  Click on this link for the route map (same as the last parade). The streets as indicated on the map are: Saddlecrest Blvd, Saddlecrest Gardens, Saddlebrook Common, Saddlebrook Drive, Saddlebrook Link, Saddlebrook way, Saddlecrest Way, 88 Ave, Savanna Street, Savanna Road, 52 Street, Saddletree Drive, Saddlecreek Way, Saddleback Road, Saddle Ridge Drive, Saddlehorn Drive, Saddlecrest Park, and Saddlecrest Terrace. We tried to reach as many students as we could, if we do not pass by your street, feel free to meet us somewhere along the route!

The End of the Year Parade of Greatness will leave Saddle Ridge School at 11 am sharp on Friday, June 26!

June is National Indigenous History Month to honour the history, heritage, and diversity of Indigenous peoples in Canada. There are a number of activities posted under Optional Week 11 tasks for students to stay engaged while learning more about Indigenous peoples of Canada.
